My thoughts and prayers go out to Susan and Bill’s family. It was my pleasure to get to know and have the opportunity to hear of his travels with Susan.

I know Bill from ASA Philadelphia Chapter. Bill was a kind gentle man, always ready to volunteer his time and knowledge. I am so sorry to learn of his passing.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill for four years. He was kind, funny, thoughtful and oh-so-smart. A true gentleman. My sincere condolences go to Susan and his family. Although I take comfort that he is at peace, it is heartbreaking to know that's he's not on this earth anymore.

I will miss Bill.

I first met Bill Mitchell well over a decade ago as a member of the American Society of Appraisers. Bill was always a kind, humble and responsive professional both as a member and leader in the Philadelphia ASA Chapter and as an appraiser with a specialty in business valuation. I often referred clients to Bill knowing that they would be well served by his knowledge and expertise. As one of my few contemporaries in the association, he is gone much too soon. The Philadelphia ASA Chapter and Board will miss Bill's steady ongoing contributions.

I send my profoundest condolences to Bill's immediate and extended family and community. We are eternally grateful for Bill's commitment to our chapter activities.

Bill was always the sweetest guy in the room. What a great smile. His positive vibes and enthusiasm lifted every event. Bill was also a great listener and a very thoughtful man. His nickname was "The Spear" as he always drove head first into anything that he set his mind to....work, play, everything. I'm sorry that I didn't get to see Bill more after college, but my memories of him are strong and I'll always be grateful for his friendship, warmth and kindness. Much love and respect to you Bill. You are the best! Love, Glenn
