William P. Mitchell

William P. Mitchell, of Warwick, PA died on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Abington Hospice at Warminster, PA.  He was 55. 

He was the beloved husband of 15 years to Susan Baumher Mitchell. 

Born in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, he was one of four sons to William and Patricia Pinkham Mitchell of Warrington.

Bill graduated with a BA in Management/French Minor from Gettysburg College where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.  He earned his MBA in Finance from La Salle University.  He held a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and served as a grader for the exams.  Bill enjoyed his affiliation with the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers as an on-going member of the board and as past president.  Bill was fascinated with history, literature, film, and economics.  He had a quick wit and a generous spirit.  Bill felt blessed in life and was a cheerful giver.  More importantly, Bill was a man of deep faith in God.  He saw the best in people and was a loyal friend and confidant.  Bill and Susan planned their vacations to National Parks to immerse themselves in the beauty of God’s creation.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, Bill is also survived by his three brothers David Mitchell of Warwick, Don Mitchell and his wife Yan of Burlingame, CA, and Ken Mitchell and his wife Tisha of Plumsteadville, his 4 brothers-in-law, Bill and Debbie Baumher of North Wales, Charlie and Pam Baumher of Doylestown, Rick Baumher and his wife Amie of Union Dale, PA, and Mark Oelschlegel of Doylestown and his sister-in-law, Anne Wilson and her husband Lou of Hatfield.  He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law; Carol Oelschlegel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bill’s visitation Monday, January 3, 2022, from 10:00 am until words of remembrance at 11:45 am and his Funeral Mass 12:00 pm at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Rd., Jamison, PA 18929.  His interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to Mercy Volunteer Corps, 1012 N. Bethlehem Pike, Suite 1, Lower Gwynedd PA, 19002.
