Dear Family,
I just want you all to know what a privilege it was to have been your dad’s caregiver. He would always have a smile on his face went I got to his apartment. I will miss all his corny jokes, our walks to the pond and feeding the fish and squirrels. And that smile on his face when he had a gift to give me. But above all I will miss the gentleman that he was. And I promised to him (when I whispered in his ear)on Sunday nite I would let the administration at Ann’s Choice know how deplorable his care giving was at the memory care unit! Thank you, Diane for entrusting me to care for your dad.
