Condolences for Sarah V. Parkes (Cannon)
My dear sweet Sally, I miss you so much! I babysat your kids. You and Bill were so generous to Rene and me. Rene and I were so poor when we got married that for our honeymoon, you lent us your car for the week! So many more stories! Life will never be the same without both of you. We love you both.
We were all so young when we first met as neighbors on Cameron Drive in Holland , but I will never forget Sally and Bill. They loved people and parties and their wonderful family! I am thankful for their son, Greg, for staying in touch and notifying me of the death of both his parents. They lived a full and fun life and I am jealous of their Sea Isle City fun!! BUT.....I am sure their experiences in heaven is even better!
Dear Eileen, Jim, Jimmy, Nora and the entire Parkes family,
Our heartfelt sympathy to all of you. Sally was a beautiful and kind lady who always welcomed us into her home. We loved our times getting to know your close knit family woven with the love by your dear sweet mom. May she Rest In Peace and may you all keep her close to your heart.
Love,
Kenny, Sharon and Seana
Dear Sally
We are sure that you know, just how grateful we are that Bill and you travelled to Ireland back in 1982 for the Cassidy Clan Reunion in Monaghan. From that fateful meeting, Patricia and I, then just 2 years married, gained the two greatest friends that one could hope for in this life. We are blessed to have remained in your firm friendship and confidence every day since. Our children, and grandchildren that followed, are in awe at their “Aunt Sally” and “Uncle Bill” and the fun and stories that we have enjoyed sharing together with you both as they grew up.
Thank you so much for your friendship and kindness over the years. We already miss you so much Sally, and we are deeply saddened not to be able to travel over, to proudly walk the last sad mile with you.
May the angels come to meet you, and may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
Until we meet again,
Codladh Samh, Sally.
I'm so very sorry for you loss. The entire family is in my prayers. May God comfort your hearts as you remember joyful times with Sarah.
