Condolences for Gregory Abalov

Dennis AbalovTuesday, December 1st

Hey Dad, I don’t want to go through details of your life, but just welcoming everyone who is reading to tell their life points with you. Hey, life is just a few stories at the end, let’s make em good ones.

For me, I knew my dad since I was born, he was a toy for me for my first few years, but then I realized he is my father. Through all these times, short years of his life, he became my best friend. I remember when I brought him to his first Football game :) Of course we had our ups and downs but we always were able to take a shot and laugh off both at the end. Let’s honor his life.

Dennis, Anya, and family,
Kate and I are deeply saddened to hear about your loss and we wanted to send our condolences to you and your family during this unfortunate time.
I'll always remember the elaborate dinners he would welcome me into, and the toasts (Nostrovia!) he would ask everyone to make throughout the nights. And of course, not to forget, the talks we would have about the Flyers!
He will be missed dearly.

wishing you all the best!

Greg...Geez. What to say. Gone way too early. You were generous and kind and always had a funny story to share. A lot of crazy memories of me growing up with Dennis and Karina, all of them good, and some the best I have. You'd come home from a night out and find Dennis and his friends sitting at your kitchen table drinking and chatting and you'd sit with us and just join in in whatever we were discussing. Those were some of the best times. You'll be missed, the world is a little darker without you in it. Rest in Peace.

There are no words that can express how sorry I am that Greg is no longer with us.I know him because I've been best friends with his daughter Karina since we were 10 years old.He had the best smile it was infectious. He was always happy and joking and could lift anyone's spirit. He was his children's everything and I'm heartbroken for them.He was kind, caring, loving, and always positive. I have great memories like when we all to Florida,or went fishing, camping ,or just hanging at the house. Those are some of my best memories growing up and I'm so glad I got the honor of knowing him and his family. He will be truly missed.

I always look back very fondly on our family's time with Grisha and his family. He was always good natured, always caring for others and it's hard to explain how much he will be missed. There are certainly some great stories to tell, but what's most important is that I know he felt loved and cared for.
