Mrs. Armstrong, "Big D" was a big part of my life. I really got to know her in my late teens/early adult years, and she certainly had a big personality packed into her little body. You couldn't help but notice how physically beautiful she was, a beauty that stayed with her throughout her life. But it was the twinkle in her eye, her just a little bit naughty sense of observation that made every visit with her so much darn fun! Life was not always easy for her, but she met these challenges with a steely determination and certainly to the outside world, good cheer. I was always thankful that although her physical capabilities may have changed, her spark, her personality remained strong. She was simply amazing! For those she touched, we will miss her mightily.
