Robert E. Hildenbrand

Robert “Bob” E. Hildenbrand of Langhorne passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2019. He was 78.

Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 41 wonderful years, Margaret “Marge” Rodgers Hildenbrand.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Raymond and Virginia Leighton Hildenbrand, and brother to the late Loretta Hildenbrand(Al)

Bob was a gentle giant who loved fixing and tinkering with cars, taking long drives, watching old movies, going to the movies, cooking, drinking soda and eating sweets. He also loved going to the casinos.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his step-children; Robert Girmscheid (Brandi), Steven Girmscheid (Marsha), and Terry Remick (Peter), as well as his brother Raymond Hildenbrand(Shirley) (late Barbara), 12 step-grandchildren, 18 step-great-grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews; Steven(Colleen), Richard, Trish and Tim Wylie, and Raymond 3rd.(Helen) and Michael Hildenbrand.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954. Bob will be laid to rest with his parents at Hillside Cemetery privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
