We met Dave and Patti in NC, as we were building our cabin down the road from them, and were so grateful for their amazing hospitality and friendship as we "roughed" out several seasons of the build. Patti kept us fed and Dave told the stories.
I had never met more generous people. We just clicked and my only regret is that we didn't live there full-time while they lived in Merritt.
We got to visit with them briefly in Langhorne in 2023 and Patti insisted on making Phil's favorite meal she used to make for us in NC - Penne a la Vodka sauce. We are grateful to have had that short time to talk to Dave, and to give him our love.
Last note I have to mention - their daughters are rock stars. They inherited a lot from their parents.

Patti - So sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle David. I was always told we looked so much alike. Truth be told, he was far more handsome...and, he kept his hair! As a kid, I was so impressed that he was a submariner. Touring his sub, I couldn't believe they could live in such close quarters for so long! So sorry for your loss. RIP Uncle David.
