To the Christmann family. Please know my prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time . I knew Tom as Uncle Tom as well. At family events he would often talk to me about all of you and your children , as you say always a tear in is eye . He always spoke very kind words , never anything negative . I would walk in and say Hi Uncle Tom followed with a hug and a kiss and he called me Aunt Lisa . I am not a biological realative , however always felt like one. I am sure he will always watch over all of you and all the babies . My sincere condolences and I apologize for not being able to attend the service.
Condolences for Thomas J. Christmann, Jr.
Such a humble friend.
Although I did not personally, know Tom. I knew that he was a wonderful uncle, great uncle, and great great uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was also a beloved brother to all of his siblings. The love and care that he received from all of his family members was a true blessing to him. He was so fortunate to have such a loving family! I know how much everyone will miss him, but because you included him in everything you did in your lives you have such wonderful memories! Praying for your family through this very difficult time
Sincere condolences to the family. Tom was such a great friend.
Hello, Family of Tom... - My name is George DeFrehn. What a wonderful remembrance you put together for your beloved Tom. He was and "is" obviously loved by many. Tom and I shared a homeroom at LaSalle High, class of 1970 our junior year. I can still hear his voice and remember that smile. We shared a few things in those early days of life. Tom from St. Henry's and me from St. Helena's; both parishes on 5th Street. We had that Olney-Hunting Park connection. Please know he will be missed by many in our class. Have comfort in knowing that he is with his Lord. I know you grieve at his death... but smile in the days to come, for he is at Peace with his Christ... awaiting all of us when we, too, will someday be called home.
One of our classmates, Joe Gidjunis, wrote this for your beloved Tom... "Tommy was a super guy whom I got to know quite well in grade school. Tom played shortstop for St. Henry’s, and I played for Holy Child. We were rivals in both the Hunting Park league and in CYO league. We became friends out of respect for each other’s ability. I will always remember the special relationship which we shared. Peace to you all... Family of Tom." Peace and love to all of you from the Class of 1970!
To the entire Christmann family we are so sorry for your loss. Our hearts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time. Your family is amazing and blessed, which started with you Mom and Dad. God Bless you all. Be good to each other which I'm sure you will be. Take care. Love Always, Clare and Jim Ogden
Our heartfelt condolences to the Christmann family for the sudden loss of your dear brother and uncle. I have a special place in my heart for Tom being Godparents together for Ryan. I will always remember his smile and hugs when he greeted me at family events & how happy he was to be with everyone.
Tom surely was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by his dear Mom and Dad.
With Sympathy & continued prayers,
Eileen, Mike and Family
Am praying for you 🙏 ❤️.
It has been many years since I’ve seen Tom, but I remember him just the way he is beautifully described in his obituary. He was a true gentleman, and like his father he dedicated much of his time helping others to become better in many ways. I will never forget either of them. Love and peace.
I am so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. I pray the entire Christmann family, as wonderfully large as it is, will find peace and joy knowing Tom is in the best place!
What a great guy from a truly wonderful family. Rest in peace.
God bless him and the entire Christmann family.
