I have dear memories of Mrs. Thorpe from my childhood, growing up with her amazing children who became our special friends. She welcomed us into her home in Middlebury with such love, kindness and grace. It was an extra blessing to pray beside her at St. John of the Cross Church, her faith reflected in this beautiful description of her life. More recently, it was an unexpected gift to have a meal with both Mr. And Mrs. Thorpe after many years, their love touching my heart in so many ways in this reunion. On behalf of my entire family, please know of our warmest love and regards.
