Taub family, I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. My parents are currently out of town and my brother and I live across the country, or the four of us would be at the funeral this coming week. Mr. Taub's optimistic and caring spirit was infectious in Cub Scouts. My dad, Barry Bailey, was a cub scout leader with Mr. Taub and my brother was in Cub Scouts. Even I can think of many happy memories of him announcing at the Pinewood Derby or hosting an event. There are certain people whose kindness sticks with you, and I know I'm not alone in saying that Mr. Taub was one of those people. I feel fortunate to have known him, and my thoughts are with you all in this time of mourning. My dad may have some old Cub Scout pictures to share, I will ask him when he is back from vacation.
