Rob (Turtle) and I have been friends for 45 years. Remember lunch period in high school. He was always fun to be around. When my fiancé passed away six years ago, he made a point to check on my many times to make sure I was ok. A great friend, husband, father and coach. My sincerest condolences to his wife Chris and extended family. God bless.

I graduated from WASHS in 1984 with Robert and had several classes with him. I unfortunately did not get to know him well but do remember he was a decent person that was very easy to get along with, and I do remember he loved his soccer! It sounds like he remained a good man that took care of his family and the people that meant the most to him.
I'm so sorry to hear of his passing, and pray his great memories will provide comfort for family and friends for all years to come.
My condolences,
John B. Hartman
Sending all my love to the Miller family. Robert was an amazing father and friend to everyone. He will never be forgotten.
So very saddened by the passing of Robert. He adored and lived for his family. He felt like family to me. I worked with Chris at Rohm and Haas and Dow. He was the kind of father every child would hope for. I admire his dedication to his family first and his love for soccer second. He was the guy you were glad stepped up to support your kids. My heart hurts deeply for Chris, his kids and family. He supported me personally through a rough time. Robert, if you can see or hear this, thank you. You left this world too soon but you left a beautiful mark.
I taught Robert in junior high school, and I remember his humorous additions to class as well as his kind manner. In the last 3 years, I have communicated with Robert through social media, and he still retained that marvelous wit and kindness. I was so looking forward to the day when we would meet again and reminisce. Robert has left us all too soon. I would like to express my sincere condolences to his family.
Well my deepest sympathies go out to you Chris the boys and your daughter.
Nothing I can write or say can ever to console you over the loss of your beloved Rob (Turtle). We were teammates hall mates on A/3 Ober .
He was always upbeat personable and if you ever needed to play soccer or Uganda in front of Ober he was willing to play. Through FB I always enjoyed his posts about your family, his former players or food…whatever. He always was putting other first willing to volunteer coach ,mentor, his church.
He will be deeply missed

Deepest condolences and sympathies. Robert was the nicest man and one of the first my family connected with when moving my family from NJ to PA. He will be deeply missed.
I’m so very sorry and sad to hear of this tremendous loss. I did not know Robert well, but he served as HSA president while my children were at Jamison and my daughter was a part of Warrington soccer for years. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I’m deeply sorry.
Rest In Peace Rob Miller. We have such fond memories with the Miller family in Seabrook, Texas, that will never be forgotten. Sending lots of love, thoughts and prayers to Chris, Kyle, Sean and Makayla during this heartbreaking time.
Chris, I'm so sorry for your loss and your children's loss. The news was shocking and devastating. Rob (Turtle) was one of the first people I met at E-town since our roommates came to school dating. He was one of the nicest, sweetest people, and he always had a smile on his face. My heart is deeply saddened by this. I hope you find some comfort in how well loved Turtle was, and how much he adored you and his children- that was 100% apparent by all his Facebook posts. We are all better people for having known him, and I truly am sorry you are all going through this. You have my deepest sympathies!

So sorry to hear the news of Robert’s passing. I used to work for Robert at Fairfield Cleaners back in late 90’s early 2000s. We had so much fun working and that was because of Robert. He took care of us and all of the employees. So many great memories made during those years. I will always remember those days fondly.
Robert Miller blessed me with the opportunity to teach his two boys. Always smiling, Robert was a true, joyful human being. Bless the Miller Family!
My condolences to the family and friends of Robert Miller. I knew him from our many battles on the soccer field in High School. Robert was such a kind and caring person and it showed in all that he did. I just had drinks with him recently during the passing of a beloved family member and Rob (Turtle) was there for support as he did his entire but way to short life. Rob will be sorely missed as he touched so many people with his outgoing personality. May you Rest In Peace my friend.
I know everyone in the community will always remember his positive, inclusive, and kind demeanor along with his dedication to everyone on his soccer teams. He left a lasting impact that will not be forgotten. Your family has been in my thoughts and I wish you healing.
I’m happy to have met Turtle in my early days at Etown when Chris was my RA. I’m grateful to Facebook for allowing for an ongoing connection. He was one of a kind. I wish his family well always.
I'm so sorry to hear about Robert's passing. I worked for him at Fairfield Cleaners when I was in High School and we all had the best time! Robert was such a great guy and was so good to all of us. I'll always remember his amazing ability to befriend everyone he met. Sending my prayers to Chris and the kids.

I know it’s been awhile since we have chatted. Robert was eager to plan a trip with the four of us!!
He will be so missed 🙏🏼
I had the pleasure of talking soccer many times with him. I am the father of one of his players at CB South and the retired Athletic Director of CB East so got to be on the sidelines with him often. He had a heart of gold always wanting the best for all who he had coached over the years. When we saw each other a few years after my daughter graduated, he wanted to know what she was up to and how she was doing. The man truly had a heart of gold. He will be greatly missed.
Robert was an amazing person and contributor to the community, especially to the Warrington FC Fusion soccer team where he coached our daughter. He will be missed on the sidelines with his booming voice and laughter. We will miss his generosity and kindness off the field too. Our condolences to Chris, Mikayla and the whole family, may your memories bring you peace. 💜 Alesia, Ron & Ashley Volans
I am lucky enough to have had the privilege of being coached by Robert Miller. I only joined one of his teams a few years ago, but with Mills it didn’t matter. You didn’t need to know him for 10 years for him to treat you with love, care, and respect. Getting to watch him interact with parents, refs, and even girls that were supposed to be our opponents was one of the best gifts I have ever received. He spoke to every single person he came across with positivity and encouragement. Coach Miller has been the light in every room since the day I met him. My heart goes out to his family, especially Makayla. Sending lots of love, he will be greatly missed.
Chris I am so sorry for your loss and for the entire family. “Turtle” as we know him, was always up for fun. I remember the times we all got together and how welcoming he was, always up for fun, dancing, joking around and laughing. He always made us feel at ease with his generous welcoming personality. What a kind person. He will be missed. I wish we all got together sooner. Let’s do that and raise a glass in his honor. My heart goes out to you ❤️~Love Jennifer
Dear Chris and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Robert’s passing. We learned so much from the two of you while working together on the PreCana team at church. Your great love for each other and your family was a great example for all.

Chris and family, we are so very sad for the loss of your husband and father! We have such wonderful memories of living on Donofrio Drive in Downtown with you and other great neighbors! Robert was the ultimate optimist! To him the glass was always three quarters full! He was always up for any opportunity to have fun or help someone out! We will miss his smiling face! Please be comforted in knowing that you will eventually see him again in paradise! ❤️
Our Deepest condolences to Christine and the Entire Miller/Finley Family. One of the best soccer coaches I ever had. Gone too soon.
Chris and family-so very saddened to learn of Robert's passing so suddenly and while so young. I was fortunate to know him, you and your family, through my role at St. Cyril's. What a blessing. I will always remember his willingness to be involved in our Genesis program and to really help out in any way asked. All the comments about living life, being joyful, generosity and enthusiasm are so much of who he was. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Kyle, Sean and Makayla now and in the weeks and months ahead. 🙏 Pkease let me know if I can be of help in any way.
Our deepest sympathy to the Miller family. Robert had a beautiful soul and always greeted us the a smile and a hug. He will always be remembered and never forgotten.
My heart goes out to your whole family… I am so sorry you have to go through this, I wish you peace and and I will keep you in my prayers always❤️
We were very fortunate to have our eldest daughter Alison coached by Robert when she played for Unami. She always enjoyed her experience under the care of Coach Miller.
Our hearts go out to the family at this terribly sad and hard time.
We can not think of a more wonderful way to celebrate the life and work of Robert than through the scholarship fund that the family have set up. Robert will love to see how it benefits the lives of the kids in the community.
We’ll miss seeing your smiley face and having a laugh with you around the soccer fields.
Rest In Peace Coach Miller.
