Josephine Rita Seminara

Josephine Rita Seminara, age 96, peacefully passed away on November 18, 2024.

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, she was the cherished only child of Italian immigrants, the late Joseph and Mary (née Garbarino) Seminara.

Josephine lived a quiet life with a deep sense of dedication to her family.  In her early career, she worked for General Electric before transitioning to a position at the iconic John Wanamaker store.  Later in life, she found a welcoming home as a resident of Juniper Village Retirement Community, where she spent many years enjoying the simple pleasures of daily life. She will be remembered for her meticulousness, quiet contentment, and appreciation for the small joys that others often overlook.

Josephine is survived by her cousin Betty and extended family.  Her legacy will live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Josephine's Funeral Mass at 10:30AM on Monday, November 25, 2024 in St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 999 Reading Avenue Yardley, PA 19067.  Her interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.
