Mary Lee Jarema (French)

Mary Lee Jarema (French) died peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Southampton Estates in Southampton, PA. She was 86 years old.

Mary Lee was the beloved wife of Michael D Jarema Jr. The couple shared 67 years of friendship, love, family and laughter.  She is survived by her loving children Bill Jarema and his girlfriend Michele Pavlow of Hatboro, and Carrie Breeswine and her husband, Richard of La Quinta, CA.

Born in Northfield, NJ, Mary Lee was the only daughter of the late Charles S. Jr. and Lela Hilliard French. She is the sister of Charles S French, III and the late Joshua Hilliard French.

Avid Bowler, Bridge player, and darn good Softball player once a year at Family Camp in New Hampshire, where she enjoyed nature, and long-time friends, with her family in summer. In later years, Mary Lee learned to snorkel and fell in love with Whales, spending many winters in Maui with her husband.

Mary Lee wasn’t a mom to just her children, but “adopted” people, families, children and dogs throughout her life, providing love, guidance and support however she could.  If she knew you were in need, she would babysit, make a meal or give you a huge hug.

Relatives and friends are invited to join Mary Lee’s family to share fond memories on November 16, 2024 from 11:00 am, until the start of her Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at St. John’s United Methodist Church at 820 Almshouse Road in Ivyland, PA 18974. Her private interment will be attended by immediate family on November 18, 2024 at Laurel Memorial Park in Egg Harbor, NJ.
