Mary Alice Painter (Spier)
Mary A. Spier Painter passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Ross A. Painter for 59 years.
Born on July 8, 1942, in Bedminster, PA, Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Strauss Spier.
Mary was a 1961 graduate of Pennridge High School. She and Ross were married October 15, 1966. Mary started her years of her working career at a waitress. After marrying her love, she dedicated her next years as a dedicated mother and wife. As her boys grew older, she then took on the task of a secretarial position at Doylestown Printing Company. Mary’s favorite job of all time was spending time with her grandchildren. She created a special bond with each one and the love can be felt through each of their memories.
Along with her husband Ross, Mary will be missed by her children, James Painter and fiancée Georgetta, Andy Painter and his wife Melody, Arthur Painter and his wife May; 5 grandchildren, (Keith Lear, Amanda Painter, Taryn Painter, Jenna Painter & Chelsea Painter); siblings, (Joe Spier and Jim Spier). Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, (Donald Spier, Kenneth Spier, Shirley Clark and Linda Wismer).
Services and interment will take place at the Presbyterian Church of Deep Run, 16 Irish Meeting House Road, Perkasie, Pa 18944 at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s name may be made to Deep Run Presbyterian Church.
