John Joseph Kelly

John J. Kelly a proud former United States Marine of Yardley, PA died peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the age of 87.

John was the beloved husband of Diane B. McNally for 33 years and the father of the late Linda Fudala. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Henry and Molly O’Donnell Kelly, and brother to the late Peggy Moyer and Mary Voglesong.

John’s playful nature was infectious. He had a knack for telling jokes and lightening the mood, making every gathering memorable. Whether at family dinners or out and about, his humor was a welcome presence, and he had an uncanny ability to connect with people of all ages.

Developing a passion for golf at an early age, John could often be found on the course, sharing laughter with friends and perfecting his swing. He believed that every problem had a solution and approached life with the same determination he applied to his golf game.

In addition to his playful spirit, John was a commercial plumbing foreman for Willard for over 30 years, always ready to lend a hand or tackle a project. Whether it was fixing a leaky faucet, installing a pool or basketball court for his children, his talents and can-do attitude left a lasting impact on his family and friends.

In addition to his wife Diane, John is survived by his children, John J. “Joe” Kelly Jr. and his wife Dian of Richboro and Suzanne Tippett of Mountain View, CA, as well as his stepchildren Kristin Kiley and her husband Dan of Yardley and Colin Kuechler and his wife Dorian of Holland, PA. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, his brothers Henry and Jim Kelly and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 11:00am until his Funeral Service 12 Noon in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment with Military Funeral Honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago IL 60601.
