Carol Hess

Carol Hess, beloved wife and mother passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2024, at Doylestown Hospital.

Carol was born in Portage Pennsylvania to the late Catherine and Paul Stout and is where she met her true love, James Hess II. They celebrated their 62nd anniversary in August.

Carol enjoyed cookouts, crafts, reading, arts and antiques, hosting on holidays, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. Her love for family encompassed all aspects of her life and each member was special to her.

Carol was preceded in death by her sister Jane Lego (Gene). She is survived by her children Debra Lautenbach (James), Sherrie Hess, Susan Taylor (Jay), James Hess III (Theresa), Paula Thacker (Steve), and Miranda Hess. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jesse, Kyle, and Mary Lautenbach, Jayson, Jamie, and Jeffrey Taylor, Eric Williams Jr and Sherica Hess, Cassandra Thacker and great-grandchildren Jaxton and Jillian Taylor. Carol was loved by all and will be missed sorely by her family and her beloved dog, Luke. 

Services and interment will be held privately on a future date.
