Patricia A. Malone (Darreff)

Patricia A. Darreff Malone died on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at her home in Newtown, PA. She was surrounded by the love of her family.

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late William E. Malone Sr. who passed in 2010.

Born in Abington, PA, Patricia was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth Weber Darreff.  Pat grew up in Mayfair with her brother Frank and sisters Peggy, Betty, and Anne.  She attended Saint Bernard for grade school and then graduated high school from Saint Hubert in 1959, but not before taking her future husband Bill to her Senior Prom.  They were married a year later and almost made it to their 50th anniversary, but for Bill’s passing.  She was an inspiration to her 6 children.  Her practical, intelligent, and fun personality made her a favorite with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Pat made everyone feel loved and appreciated.

Patricia will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses, Patricia A. Giantomaso, Kathleen D. and Michael Wagner, Theresa M. and Carl Wenzel, William E. Malone Jr., Tracy E. and Michael Boedewig and Daniel P. and Danielle Malone. She will be remembered as the best MomMom and MomMomMom to her 16 grandchildren, Nicole, Anthony, Elise, Danielle, Lauren, Rachel, Michael, Carl, Brendan, Will, Niki, Natalie, Sean, Maya, Nora, and Carson and her 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Patricia’s family on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home at 800 Newtown Richboro Road (at Holland Road) in Richboro, PA 18954. On Saturday morning, November 2, 2024 a visitation will take place from 11:00am, until the start of her Funeral Mass at 12:00am at St. Andrew Catholic Church at 81 Swamp Road in Newtown, PA 18940. Patricia’s interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children at 3551 North Broad Street in Philadelphia, PA 19140. Shriner's Hospital donation link
