James Ott

James H. Ott of Newtown, PA died suddenly at his home on Friday, October 18, 2024. He was 71.

Born in Newport News, Virginia, he was the husband of Florence (“Beady”) Palazzolo Ott and is survived by his two daughters, Emily (Kyle) Carlson of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Madeline Ott of Warrenton, VA. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Elea Carlson. He was the son of the late Henry Ott and is survived by his mother, Elaine Ott, and his five siblings.

James died doing one of the things he loved most – gardening. He will be remembered for his work ethic, ridiculous sense of humor, and the love he had for his family.

Services and interment for James will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of your choosing.
