Patricia Ann Cornell (Ross)

Patricia Ann Ross Cornell died peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Masonic Village at Warminster. She would have celebrated her 89th birthday at the end of July.

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Donald George Cornell. The couple married in 1955 and settled in Churchville, PA. They shared many years of friendship, family and love.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Patricia was the daughter of the late Edward T and Helen M Paulding Ross. She is the sister of the late Paul and Helen Ross.

Patricia grew up in Somerton, PA and graduated from Lincoln High School.  She worked for Penn Mutual in Philadelphia prior to having their 3 children. Once they were all in school, she started working for Council Rock High School which she absolutely loved for 35 years.  She enjoyed the students and her co-workers. She enjoyed all of the sporting events and was either selling tickets or measuring the long jump for track.  In her leisure time, she enjoyed her family, vacationing at their New Hampshire home or camping in Lancaster with her beloved Donald.  She enjoyed her grandchildren and recently her great grandchildren.  She retired at the young age of 80 from Council Rock HS.

Patricia will be sadly missed by her children and their spouses, Dean Cornell of Westampton, NJ, Douglas Cornell and his wife Cinthia, of Parkesburg, PA, and Pamela Widmann and her husband Derek, of Southampton, PA; her grandchildren, Austin Cornell and his wife, Heather, Tanner Cornell and his wife Jenna, Zachary Cornell and his fiancee’ Briana Fitzpatrick, Jason Cornell and his wife Kristin, Shane Widmann and his wife Regan, Shannon Widmann and Shaunna Widmann; and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Ashton, Avery Cornell and Jettson Widmann.
