Marguerite M. Richardson

Marguerite Richardson of Langhorne, PA died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. She was 94.

Marguerite was the beloved wife of the late Melville M. Richardson.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late John J. and Marguerite Martin Magee.

Marguerite had a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She loved and cared for her family and was always a willing helper. She sensed the needs of others and found ways to meet them. She especially enjoyed family and holiday gatherings large or small and cooking up a feast including everyone’s favorites. During quiet times she was an avid reader enjoying mysteries, fiction and nonfiction.

She had an adventurous spirit and was always up for a short or long road trip. Over the years she traveled North America coast to coast visiting all 50 states and most Canadian provinces. In her travels she also appreciated the lush beauty of the Caribbean, the rich history of Europe, and the culture and charm of Southeast Asia. Some of her favorite treks included Aruba, Belize, Germany, Grenada, Ireland, and Vietnam.

Marguerite is survived by her loving and devoted children Paul J. Richardson of Langhorne, Diane M. Menno and her husband Frank of Roslyn, and Linda M. Richardson of Langhorne.  She is also survived by her three dear grandchildren Ryan, David, and Kelly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 10:00 until 10:45am in Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Avenue Penndel, PA 19047.  Her Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
