Patricia Mae Meo (Evans)

Patricia Mae (Evans) Meo passed away peacefully at home in Doylestown on Thursday, July 11, 2024, with her husband at her side. She was 84 years old.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Roth) Evans and was born and raised in Philadelphia. Pat moved to Bucks County, PA after falling in love with her husband, Marty D. Meo and sharing 46 years of faith, marriage, family, friendship, and love.

Patricia pursued occupations and volunteer opportunities where she could positively impact other people's lives. She spent most of her career at Pine Run Retirement Center greeting, assisting, and caring for the residents while making each of them feel like they were her top priority. In addition, Pat volunteered countless hours at Doylestown Hospital in her younger years and then transferred her love of keeping things tidy and organized to her parishes Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The greatest joys of her life were spent with family and friends including simple get togethers, shopping, dinners out and a movie, summers in Wildwood, Cape May and Ocean City, pool parties in the backyard, and loving her pups Bullet, Kita, Madison, Chelsea, Brandy, and Jesse.  She was always the life of the party believing in the motto “the more the merrier”.

Those who shared in her life will always remember how she unselfishly put everyone else first, making them feel like they were the prettiest, most handsome, smartest, and nicest person in the world. May her legacy of kindness and caring for everyone continue to be a shining example for us all to carry forward.

Her life will forever be remembered and celebrated by her children Michael Albright of Quakertown, Martin D. "JR" Meo, Jr. and his wife Christine of Doylestown, Megan Meo of West Townsend, MA; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet and share memories with Pat’s family on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902 from 10:00am until the start of her Funeral Mass at 11:00am.  Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont for all who wish to attend.
