John Charles Weber

John Charles Weber passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 30, at his home in Bucks County, PA. He was 60 years old. John passed from Hereditary Angioedema, a rare, life-threatening genetic disorder that causes swelling and painful attacks in many areas of the body. John suffered greatly from this debilitating disease. Knowing that he is pain-free in Heaven with his parents, John and Teresa, provides comfort to his family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the only son of the late John G. and Teresa Mary Staudenmayer Weber. He grew up in the Bustleton neighborhood of Philadelphia. He then moved to Bucks County, where he attended Archbishop Wood HS, excelling in soccer.

During his childhood/teenage years, he enjoyed spending time at the Jersey shore in Wildwood Crest with family, as well as renting many summers in Sea Isle City with his close group of friends. He was an avid fan of classic rock music, and attended many concerts throughout the years. He was an active and proud member of the United German Hungarian Club, where he forged many early and long-lasting friendships. He was a member of the U.G.H soccer association and was proud to carry on the cultural legacy of his beloved grandfather, John Weber.

John attended Villanova University, where he continued his love of soccer. He graduated with a degree in Business Management and Marketing. He worked in sales and various business ventures.

John was a dedicated fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams, particularly the Philadelphia Eagles, a passion he shared with his beloved parents, John and Teresa. He had a passion for history and all things Trivia. John loved nothing more than creating new and interesting questions to stump his friends and family. His mind held a wealth of factoids. If you had a question, John surely had the answer. John was lovingly referred to as the “King of Trivia”.

John was kind and caring, and loved nothing more than talking to and gathering with friends, often at the Phoenix Sports Club. He had a nice word for everyone and deeply cherished all his friendships.

John is predeceased by his parents, John (2024) and Teresa (2023). He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews: Terry (Bob) Delgado, Denise (Steven) Budzynski, Donna (Doug) Frank, Danielle, Grace, Sara, Stephanie, Kyle, Nicole, and Ryan.

John's family will receive friends on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 2:00pm until his Memorial Service 4:00pm at the Phoenix Sports Club, 301 West Bristol Road Trevose, PA 19053.  His interment will be private.
