Douglas K Reichenbach Jr.

Douglas ‘Doug’ Kenneth Reichenbach Jr. of Doylestown, age 66, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, June 29, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Doug is survived by his beloved wife Leslie of 41 years, sons Trent, JD and wife Sara; granddaughters Brooke and Milly; late sister Janice (Reichenbach) Laub and husband John Laub and their children John and wife Kayla (daughter Lexington), Stephanie, Matthew and wife Alyssa, and friends and family too numerous to list but not forgotten. Doug was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to many.

Doug was born January 29, 1958, in New Brunswick, NJ to Douglas K Reichenbach Sr. and Jeanne (Riepl) Reichenbach. Doug attended Lehigh University, where he was a proud member of the Chi Psi Fraternity and an avid athlete in both baseball and football. His love for sports continued throughout his life as he dedicated many years to coaching young athletes, guiding players aged 12-18 in Babe Ruth Baseball, Legion Baseball, and High School teams. He introduced his son JD to the love of baseball, including how to pitch, passing down his passion for the sport. For 34 years, Doug worked alongside his wife, Leslie, as they owned and operated several successful businesses together.

Doug found great joy in watching sports with his family and listening to music with his son Trent, who introduced him to a wide array of music genres. Summers spent at the shore in Manasquan were among his happiest times, where he could relax and enjoy the company of his family and closest friends. Doug was affectionately known as a "giant smoosh" to his granddaughters. His family meant the world to him, and he found immense joy in spending time with them.

Doug's legacy is one of love, dedication, and a passion for sports and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
