Richard C. Zielinski

Richard Charles Zielinski suddenly passed away on June 29, 2024 at his residence in Doylestown. Richard was born on January 12, 1940, to parents Charles Peter Zielinski and Catherine (nee Wolfe-Barclay) in Brooklyn, New York. He was survived by his wife, of nearly 60 years, Barbara Ann (nee O’Neill) Zielinski, two daughters Mary Regina (nee Zielinski) Williams and Patricia Ann Zielinski; two granddaughters Kayla Ann (nee Goodwin) Hopkins and Victoria Rae (nee Goodwin) Posillico, two great-granddaughters, and brothers Terrence and Bruce.

Richard and Barbara moved from Philadelphia to Chalfont in 1971 where they raised their family and resided for 51 years before moving to Doylestown. Rich served in the military, graduated from Central High School and went on to gain his Master of Science degree in engineering. He had a long career in research and development as an electrical engineer for government agencies in both classified and unclassified projects. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, landscaping his gardens, all kinds of gadgets, shopping for art and antiques, and creating movie nights after a Sunday family dinner. Rich will be greatly missed, but eternally remembered by his devoted wife, children, and granddaughters.
