Richard J. Linaberry

Richard J. Linaberry, 35, of Chalfont, passed away peacefully June 26, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Born May 6, 1989 in Abington, he was a son of Richard J. Linaberry and Jean A. Gero.

Richard grew up in a loving and close family where if you had one it wasn’t long until the others followed. His Elvis smile lit up the room and his laugh was undeniable and irreplaceable. Richard built his own successful demolition business, a job he loved and ran with all of his heart alongside his canine partner, Sandy. His sisters will always cherish their childhood memories as Richard was always up for an adventure of monkey trees and digging for dinosaur bones. He loved all the annual family traditions and not a holiday or birthday would go by without him spoiling his nieces and nephews with special gifts. Richard spent the last 5 years with his loving girlfriend Jessica and their fur animals building a home. When they weren’t vacationing at the beach, he loved coming home from a long day of work, having dinner together and finding a good movie before bed. He called his girlfriend his home. Rich had a passion for fashion, from his endless wardrobe, a selection of hats for a rare bad hair day, to his own personal shoe store he was always the best dressed in the room. He loved his cars and trucks, could take anything apart just to put it back together and loved driving with Sandy by his side. He is known for his sweet tooth and love of snacks, always stopping for a blue slurpee to treat himself which he shared his love of with his mom and had the family trait of buying gum just to eat it. Deep down Richard was a “Simple Man”, he loved with all of his heart and was a true gift to everyone that was lucky enough to have him as part of their life. He gave more than he took and taught so many lessons of kindness, genuine caring, helping others and most of all love.

Along with his parents, Richard is survived by his sisters, Jessica Glover (Jesse), Kristina Kiskurno (Ryan), and Victoria Linaberry (Andrew); nieces and nephews, Lucas, Hailey, Peyton, Kandace, Mia, Cole, and Cora; grandmother, Joan Linaberry; step-mom, Elky Sabonger; step-sister, Elky Fuentes; longtime girlfriend, Jessica Novak; and canine best friend, Sandy.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain.
