Arthur J. E. Stauffer

Arthur J. E. Stauffer of Hilltown, PA, passed away at home early on Saturday morning, January 15, 2022 at the age of 91. Son of Arthur and Leah Stauffer, he was born in Emmaus, PA.

Art was an active and ardent outdoorsman. He was a successful midget and stock car racer.  He loved hunting, fishing and archery, enjoyed parachuting, as well as trap shooting as a long-time member of the North End Gun Club in Lehigh County.

Kind, patient and knowledgeable animal lover, his best friend and loyal companion was his beloved Schnauzer, Shady. He always spoke about their special relationship.

Long retired, Art worked for more than forty years at Asplundh. There he served as utility line tree trimmer and eventually crew foreman.

Art is survived by his two children with his former wife, Elizabeth Kennedy. They are Guy Stauffer, Bobbie Lynn Stauffer, as well as grand daughter Destiny Hess and great grand daughter Madison Hess.

Art will be celebrated at a private ceremony later this year. He will be missed by all who knew him.
