Linda Brotschol (Guarrieri)

Linda S. Brotschol, of Chalfont, PA, died on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Doylestown Hospital. She was 65.

She was the beloved wife of 42 years to Frank J. Brotschol, III.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frank S. and Marie R. Montini Guarrieri.

Linda grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and Bensalem, and after graduating from Archbishop Ryan High School in 1974 went on to Penn State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1978. She then returned to the area and moved to Yardley in Bucks County where she lived for over 35 years before recently moving to Chalfont.

Linda was a longtime faithful and devout communicant of St. Mary the Virgin Chapel.  She lived a very holy and humble life, and was always giving to her church and others. She volunteered her time and talents to her church and to the ALS unit of Chandler Hall helping those less fortunate. When she was not volunteering, she would spend her time with her eight grandchildren who brought so much joy to her life. The love and goodness she shared with them will always be treasured.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her two sons; Frank J. Brotschol IV and his wife Kim of Hilltown, Michael A. Brotschol and his wife Rose of Chalfont, her brother Frank S. Guarrieri Esq. and his wife Mary Ann T. of Wrightstown, and her sister Maria T. Guarrieri of Bensalem. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; Frank IV, Weston, Penelope, Tucker, Michael II, Juliana, Isabella, and Christopher, and soon to be her 9th grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave., (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901. For the safety of family and friends in attendance all who visit are required to wear a mask. Her funeral mass and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mary the Virgin Chapel 1520 S. Delaware Street, Paulsboro, NJ 08066.
