Elizabeth Lukac (Nammack)

Elizabeth Lukac, of New Hope, PA died Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Chandler Hall in Newtown, PA. She was 70 years old.

Liz was the beloved wife of the late John Lukac, who died in 2011.

Born in Far Rockaway, NY, Liz was the daughter of the late Dr. Griswold P.D. and Muriel Elizabeth Reilly Nammack.  Liz was the second of their five children and the treasured sister of her older brother, the late Griswold D. Nammack, II.

Liz was a person of faith who lived a truly compassionate life.  At the age of twenty-five, she joined Alcoholics Anonymous and never wavered from the program’s commitments.  Liz sponsored many other members of AA and through her work and relationships there transformed the lives of others and enlarged her own.  Liz was an accomplished seamstress and costume designer and maker.  Her creative talents included drawing, sketching, and writing poetry.  She had a profound love of butterflies and included images of them in her art work.  Liz had a lively, buoyant sense of humor that served as a remarkable antidote to the challenges that she faced and those of the people whom she loved.  Liz’s boundless love for her children will always be a source of joy and security for them.

Liz is survived by her loving children, Christina Lukac (Steve Jacobs) and Joseph Lukac; her siblings, Marion Paganello (Richard), Thomas Nammack (Zandi), and Kathryn Donohue (Brian); her beloved granddaughter, Lucy Mae Jacobs; her sister-in-law, Maria Lukac and nephews and nieces, Olivia Elvir, Marion Nammack, Phillip Paganello, Travers Nammack, Chris Paganello and Laura Paganello as well as many cousins whom she adored.

Relatives and friends may greet Liz’s family on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home at 800 Newtown Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954. Liz’s Funeral Service will be held at the same location at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021.
