David E. Schuh

David E. Schuh, Jr., of Ivyland, PA died on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at his home with his family by his side. He was 86.

He was the beloved husband of 64 years to Joan Marie Everhart Schuh.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late David E. Schuh Sr., and Ruth Yingling Schuh and brother of the late Richard Schuh.  

After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School, David joined the Army.  He was stationed in Alaska and served in Intelligence for the Army Security Agency. After returning home he began a 50 plus year career as a draftsman designing sprinkler systems in many buildings throughout the Northeast.

With his free time, David loved to work in his flower garden. His home was always in perfect condition and he enjoyed making it look beautiful. He also enjoyed the time he spent in Ocean City, NJ, the Pocono’s and the many winters that he spent in Daytona Shores, FL.

He was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will long be remembered for the time and his love he shared with his family.

In addition to his loving wife he is survived by his three sons; Steven B. Schuh and Maryjane of Warminster, Jeffrey D. Schuh and Debbie of Chalfont and David "Chris" Schuh and Maureen Quinter of Warminster, his brother Karl Schuh and Jean of Paoli, and his sister Karen Crowley and Brian of El Segundo, CA.  He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren: Gregory, Stephanie, Jeffrey & Amanda and his 4 great-grandchildren Connor, Cara, Hailey and Charlie

Due to gathering limitations David’s Funeral Service and interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown with Military Honors will be held privately for his family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
