Robert Clement Ippolito

Robert Clement Ippolito of Chalfont passed away on Sunday September 20, 2020 at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, PA. He was 76 years old.

Bob was the beloved husband of 54 years to Melody Wood Ippolito.

Born in Belleville, New Jersey, Bob was the son of the late Arsenio and Sara Marotta Ippolito.

Bob was a resident of South Plainfield, NJ before moving to Chalfont in 2003. He was a proud veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War and was stationed at Tripler Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. Bob had a distinguished career for over 20 years as a Sales Manager of the Americas with Tosoh Bioscience in King of Prussia until his retirement in 2012. He was a respected elder for many years at Calvary Chapel of Central Bucks in Chalfont and enjoyed teaching Bible studies for over 40 years. Bob enjoyed playing the guitar and singing and, in his early years, was in a band that played at the Jersey shore.

Bob is survived by his children: Robert Ippolito and his wife Deborah of Flemington, NJ, Randy Ippolito and his wife Jeanne of Elizabethtown, PA, Ryan Ippolito and his wife Rebekah of Mission Viejo, CA. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, Luke, Aiden, Emily, David, Derek, Bryce, Faith, and his pet tortoise - Jose.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00am in Calvary Chapel of Central Bucks, 150 East Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to the Calvary Chapel of Central Bucks, 150 East Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914.

Private future interment with military honors will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
