Joseph Degatano passed away on July 19, 2020, alongside his loving wife of 69 years, Christine Degatano.

Joe D, as he was known by his many friends, was born in Roselle Park, NJ, and lived most of his life in Yonkers, NY. He is survived by his beloved wife Christine (Purchia); sons Al (Paula), Mark (Linda), and Chris (Janice); grandchildren Paulette, Angela, and Amanda, Michael and Andrew, Stephen, Jessica, and Thomas; great grandchildren Jack, Samantha, Brianna and Vincent, and Lydia; brother Tony and sister Patricia.

Joe was a Korean War veteran. He was a truck driver for Rosner's in Yonkers, NY, for over 40 years.

He was well-liked by all and loved by many. His favorite times were being with family, enjoying conversations, playing games, and sharing plenty of food!  Joe enjoyed bowling and golfing. He was quick to smile, laugh, and always willing to help. He will be sorely missed.

Private funeral services will be held. Contributions in his memory may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
