James A. Bryant, Sr.

James A. Bryant, Sr., of Ivyland, died suddenly on Friday, October 4, 2019. He was 62 years old.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, it’s there that he met and fell in love with his teenage sweetheart, Kimberley A. (nee Walls) Bryant. The couple shared 40 years of marriage and were longtime residents of Bucks County, PA. James enjoyed nothing more than family vacations in Wildwood, NJ.

James was the son of the late Charles “Buddy” Bryant and brother of the late David Bryant. In addition to his wife, Kimberley, James will be missed tremendously by his children, Meghan Porter (David), James A. Bryant, Jr. (Sharon) and Jessica Bryant (Stacey Zimmer); his six grandchildren Grace, Quinn, Claudia, Ryan, Lucas, and Anna; his mother, Miriam (nee Fisher) Bryant; and his sisters, Joanne Bryant and Deborah Adams (Gary).

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm, and again on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 9:30 until his Prayer Service, 10:30am in the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association National Direct Response Headquarters, 1200 Hosford Street, Suite 101 Hudson, WI 54016-9316.
