Timothy J. Schreiber

Timothy (Tim) J. Schreiber passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 8, 2019 surrounded by his family after a long and difficult fight with Multiple Myeloma. He was 56. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Dorothy Wilt Schreiber and the late Harry Schreiber.

Tim enjoyed long walks on the beach, especially at Strathmere’s Deauville Inn where he frequently drank some cold fat lagers. Tim was passionate about his faith in God and helping others. He was a lifelong avid cyclist and did many rides for charity. In addition, Tim completed multiple Tough Mudders with his sons in support of the Wounded Warrior Project, and some argue that he was the toughest mudder of them all. One of Tim’s proudest accomplishments was achieving his Master’s degree from St. Joseph's University. He was very passionate about education and reading. Most of all, Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends (at least that's what we think as he isn't writing this). Whether it was spending time at the Jersey beaches, taking in a Phillies game, cheering on his sons at their football games/practices, taking his family on one of their many Disney trips, or simply going out for dinner with family and friends; Tim’s true passion in life was spending time with and lending support for those close to him.

Tim is survived by his loving fiancé Sheila MacIntyre, as well as his two sons Justin Schreiber and Ryan Puketza.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 13301 Procter Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19116. A luncheon is to follow the mass at Spring Mill Country Club at 80 Jacksonville Rd, Ivyland, PA 18974.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tim’s name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
