Andre Panno

Andre Panno, longtime Southampton, PA Restaurateur and resident of Churchville, PA died peacefully surrounded by his loving and ever devoted family on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at St. Mary Medical Center.  He was 68.

Born in Italy, Andre was the beloved husband of 42 years to Pietra Carbone Panno and he was the son of the late Giovanni and Fortunata Fricano Panno.

Andre was a faithful parishioner of St. Bede the Venerable Church and he owned and operated Angelo’s Pizzeria & Ristorante Italiano.  Andre enjoyed working and providing for his family, but he cherished the times he spent with his children and grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed, but eternally loved by everyone who has had to honor to have been in his life and to have been loved by him.

In addition to his beloved wife Pietra, Andre is survived by his loving and devoted Children: Giovanni Panno and his Wife Ann of Ivyland, Antonino Panno and his wife Nicole of Fountainville, PA, and Nadia Panno of Churchville.  He is also survived by his dear grandchildren: Anthony, Gia, Michael, Andre, Adrianna, and Sophia, his brother Nino Panno, and his sisters: Giuseppina Cecere and Maria Teresa Lionetti and her husband Antonio.

Andre’s family will receive friends on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 10:00am until his Memorial Mass 12 Noon at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd. Holland, PA 18966. Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the National Down Syndrome Society, 8 East 41st St, 8th Floor New York, NY  10017 or to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
