Theresa Cooke (Robson)

Theresa R. (“Terry”) Cooke passed away peacefully on June 23, 2019. She was 76.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter to the late Harry S. and Theresa Mack Robson.  She and her sisters, Anne (Angelo) Zuino and Kathleen (Andy) Harris, were raised in Mayfair with a tight knit group of friends and family.  Terry attended St. Matthew’s Catholic School and Nazareth High School before attending Thomas Jefferson Nursing School and later received her BS from Philadelphia College of Textiles.

Terry followed her desire to help others throughout her career at several Philadelphia area hospitals, including Germantown, Holy Redeemer and MCP.  She also worked in continuing medical education at Synthes and AO North America.

After retiring, Terry moved to Ann’s Choice Retirement Community in Warminster.  This decision led to some of the most rewarding experiences and dearest friendships.  It also kept her incredibly active with a number of the activities to which she volunteered her time.

Terry is survived by her loving children Mary Cooke (Navin “T” Thakur), Eileen Loeffler (Rick), and Kevin Cooke (Jennifer) as well as her 6 treasured granddaughters; Madison and Keeli Loeffler, Courtney, Melanie, Meghan and Lauren Cooke.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 9:00 AM until her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 W. Street Rd., Warminster, PA 18974. Her interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Terry’s name may be made to the Ann’s Choice Benevolent Care Fund, 20000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974.
