Condolences for Margaret Mary Kolowski (Martin)

Kathy Wilz (Connell)Monday, November 4th

We are so sorry for the loss of our "Mrs. K"--she was truly a blessing to me! She even "adopted" me as a godchild when I complained to her that I had no contact with my real godmother! She DEFINITELY had the best laugh! She will be truly missed by our family--especially my mom:( Love and prayers to you all! Fondly--Kathy and Rob

William James once wrote, "we don't laugh because we are happy-we're happy because we laugh."
A large family gathering ensured that the laughter always started with Aunt Peggy and trickled down through everyone else..
Those holidays and special gatherings with the entire family are my fondest memories growing up... That incredible laugh was amazing, but, her sincere hugs with a kiss on the cheeks and a "god bless" were even more special..
I will always hold those things about her close to my heart.
Thank you, Aunt Peggy, for our time on this earth... make sure you greet all of us one day with that hug and that laugh...
Your nephew
Joseph (Joe Garant)
To my cousins.. sending a hug and a smile...

I must say Aunt Peggy could be infectious. I remember playing badminton & she stepped in McDogel’ s p—-. She laughed it off. A great way to celebrate life.

I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. I will always remember how she welcomed me and my brother, as high school kids, into her home with laughter and love. May peace be with her and with your family.

My prayers go out to the Kolowski Family today. Mrs. K was such a kind and welcoming person. Whenever I visited the Kolowski home, she always greeted me with a big warm hug and welcome to her household. She made me and other friends feel like we belonged there and that we had a 2nd mom looking out for us: feeding us, laughing with love at our teen foibles, and probably praying for us - which we needed. It is no small thing for kids and teens to have other caring adults in their lives, and it speaks to her character and the love she put out into the world. I'm sure she will be missed dearly. Rest in peace Mrs K and my thoughts today go out to Joe, Matt, Meg, Mary and their families.
