Condolences for James M. Fluehr Sr.

Andree PrideMonday, September 9th

Loved you Jim from the first time you started dating my sister Helen! She was over the moon with you. I was thrilled to see her so happy. And what a family you two built together. You had a harder life than most but you never stopped smiling. Rest my friend.

Billy and Kathy HaroldMonday, September 9th

We have such fond memories of Jim and Helen as we raised our families together as neighbors in Southampton……playgroups, pool days, birthday parties, Christmas parties, church carnivals, carpools.
Jim had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He was always upbeat and concerned about other people’s problems, never his own. Along with Helen, they were an inspirational couple. Our hearts are broken for Helen and family..

To Helen, children and family,

I’m deeply sorry to hear about the passing of James. Sending you love during this difficult time, hope you find comfort in the memories you shared with him.
Condolences,

The recent Olympics brought back memories of watching my cousin Jim play wheelchair basketball in his youth. I always admired his fortitude. Now that he has "slipped the surly bonds of earth" I hope that he "danced the skies" on his trip home to God in heaven. He will continue in my nightly prayers for him and the Fluehr family.

My condolences to the Fleuhr family. I feel bad that I will not be able to pay my respects. I worked with Jim and he always impressed me. He was always an inspiration to all that have known him. His positive attitude and energy and his laugh are things that I will always remember. Jimmy & I talked not too long ago. We talked about getting together and I now regret not making that happen before his passing. Rest In Peace my friend.
