I've known Arlene for 50 years, so there are a LOT of great memories. But one of my favorite ones is when Arlene came to visit me in Connecticut and helped me celebrate MY 30th Birthday at Tavern on the Green in NYC. I can't remember what we did to celebrate HER 30th Birthday a couple of years before mine, and I'm hoping that says more about Arlene than it does about me. Because her going out of her way to celebrate my day IS all about Arlene. THAT was Arlene: doing whatever it took to make something special for a friend or family member. She always put other's needs before her own. A belated "thanks" to Warren and Matthew and Kari (Kate wasn't around yet) because she left them at home to come see me! And of course, a big THANKS to Arlene for all the great years of friendship. Love, Kim
