Dear Brenda, Kathryn and Alexandra: I am so deeply sorry about the passing of your husband and father Ben -- please accept my most sincere condolences on this terrible loss. Ben was a good friend and colleague for over 20 years, and I was absolutely devastated to hear that he had passed away. Ben was one of the best -- extraordinarily talented and intelligent, he was a mentor to me and so many others in our industry. He always -- always -- took time to connect and catch-up over the years, always made time for people, was always willing to lend his hand to help and support. And, he was funny -- oh man, we had so many laughs over the years, the deep belly ones that made you fall off your chair. I hope you can find strength and comfort in his memory and the love he clearly had for you all -- I will miss him, as will so many others. Holding you all in my heart and my prayers at this difficult time.

Best,

LJ Baker

Dear Family, Please accept my sincere and deepest condolences on the loss of Ben. I just cannot imagine how difficult and devastating a time this must be for you and the entire family.
I had the chance of knowing Ben for many years when he joined our Team at Mastercard. We all appreciated his professionalism and wisdom, as well as his warmth and tremendous enthusiasm.
Please know I’m thinking of him, of you and your loved ones.
Alfredo

In Memory of Ben -

I’m so sorry that I didn’t know that Ben had taken so ill this past year. Just more evidence that we spend far too much time working and doing mundane things and far too little time with good friends! I want you to know that Nancy and I are thinking of all of you at this very sad time.

Ben has been such a good friend over the many years since we met in 2006. We’ve traveled to some great places together (BA I remember the most!) and we’ve had the opportunity to talk about work and life enough that I always knew that Ben was one of the super great men of the universe. I will always be thankful for Ben’s friendship, which as recently as 2022 meant him going out of his way to find us World Series tickets.

In Ben’s memory, I promise to take a piece of him with me to any:
- Temple Final 4 (it will happen one day!!!)
- Phillies World Series Victory (that could happen sooner vs. later)
- Eagles Super Bowl (now this feels like a little later than sooner)
- Temple Football Bowl Game Win (a dream)

I’ll be thinking of you today, tomorrow and always.

With love always to my friend,
Andy

I am so saddened to learn of Ben's passing. Ben was one of those special people I am lucky to have met and conducted business. It is rare in the advertising industry to come across such a friendly and approachable senior figure. Unbeknownst to Ben, I would speak of him fondly whenever his name came up.
My sincere condolences to the Jankowski family!

Dear Jankowski family,
I hope you’re feeling much love and support this week as we all remember Ben and celebrate a truly beautiful life. I first came to know Ben when we were college sophomores, and I still have vivid memories of the amiable 19-year-old with the mop of curly hair and sharp wit that always kept us laughing. We knew then that Ben was going places, because he was a natural leader, smart and talented, but also blessed with a winning personality, a big heart and a disarming sense of humor that drew people to him. None of us were surprised by Ben’s extraordinary business successes, or by the kind of man he became: a devoted husband and doting father who enjoyed life and was unfailingly generous to others, especially at our alma mater, Temple. Ben left us too soon, but he touched many lives and will continue to do so, through his gifts and his example. May his memory be blessing, and a comfort to his family and all who knew him.

Dear Brenda, Kathryn and Alex,
We are deeply saddened to hear of Ben's passing. Even though it has been quite some time since we last saw him, we remember him fondly. He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed watching his girls perform. We send you our sincere condolences and will remember all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
With our deepest sympathy,
The Kelly Family

Brenda, Kathryn and Alex,

We are so sorry to hear of Ben’s passing. We were unable to attend the memorial service since we’re in San Juan, PR where we spend Feb and March. Our hearts go out to you and wish you peace.

Dear Brenda, Kathryn & Alex.. I’ve pretty much saw Ben every Sunday morning for the last 2.5 decades at BTCC (no, it’s not Blessed Trinity Catholic Church) unless weather and kids activities interfered.. Ben was a dynamic and engaging personality who, when we were playing together, would sing and laugh at our selections, obscure as some were, and certainly peeve the other two (Alan, Tom, Jim or Drew). Please accept my belated condolences. I’ll miss his sardonic rapier wit and his smile.. and our love for xxxl golf shirts.. Prayers

Brenda, I am so saddened to have just learned of Ben's passing. I am also grateful to have known the man for many, many years and always enjoyed his company, his friendship, his intelligence, his wit, and of course that laugh. I can't help but think back to those days at Grey, 1982 maybe(?) when he showed up as an Assistant Media Planner, a wet-behind-the-ears punk just out of college, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a burning desire to do well in Advertising. It was obvious right away that this kid had what it takes to be successful in that, and anything he set his mind to. I regret I couldn't have bought stock in my hunch 'cause the man exceeded everyone's expectations, including probably his own (and yours). Oh and "Scooter's" too. Much love to you and your daughters. I'm sure his passing left a big hole in your lives and hearts. Thankfully we all got to be a part of his life, but none more than you three.
