Condolences for Jerold "Jerry" T. Wright
Dear Wright Family,
I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. Your father was a great man who was loved by all. And what a great family he and your mom raised. We were the fortunate friends growing up to know such wonderful people and then to reconnect when visiting Ann’s Choice. My kids even had the pleasure of meeting your amazing dad and mom. May the wonderful memories you share bring you peace at this difficult time. You now have an angel with you always! Keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers!
With love, Lynda and family
Met Gerry at my brother in law Mike Egan, great guy, good sense of humor, we had a great time. Always admired his son Jay and knew why after meeting his parents! RIP Gerry
May God bless Judy and her Family and bring them peace in there bereavement and in there sorrow.
God has gained a real good coach. Rest in peace my friend.

It’s been 30 yrs, but for 8 to 10 years of my life I had the fortune to see Big Jer and his wonderful family probably 3 to 7 days a week depending on the sports season or whose house was hosting pick up basketball, in the pool baseball, wiffle ball or curb ball. He was kind and wanted the best for his players, his children, and his children’s friends and would give encouragement and instruction/coaching freely. (fortunately or unfortunately for him selling out of his house meant he ran into us a lot)
My family (Ekstroms) send our love to the the entire Wright family, especially Big Jude because Big Jer and Big Jude complemented each other and were/are truly role models.
California Formicas send our sincere condolences to the Wright family. So many childhood memories in the Churchville neighborhood.RIP Mr. Wright
I'll miss Jerry's smiling face and optimistic outlook. Jerry was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I always enjoyed talking Philly sports with him at family gatherings. He always had positive things to say about people and I admired his devotion to God and family. I send my best wishes and condolences to my beautiful cousin Judy and to all of Jerry's children and grandchildren. Rose and I are praying for all of you.
I'll really miss Jerry. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I always enjoyed talking to Jerry at family gatherings, usually about our mutual love- Philly sports and of course Villanova basketball. Jerry was always smiling and talking positive about people. I admired his devotion to family and friends. We send condolences to my beautiful and vibrant cousin Judy and to all Jerry's children and grandchildren. Rose and I are praying for all of you.
My deepest condolences to Judy and the family. If you knew Jerry, you were blessed he was a kind man with a heart of gold and a love for life. He was a man who loved his family and anyone who was in part of his life. h
He will be with God and all of his friends.

My sincere condolences to the Wright Family. Such wonderful childhood memories from a lifetime ago in Churchville.
We were truly blessed with amazing, caring, supportive, kind, loving, fun neighbors. Thank you Mr. Wright for being one of them.
Sending prayers and love from Savannah.
Rest in peace Mr. Wright.
When Judy introduced you to me in 1960 I knew she had found the love of her life. That smiling face along with your gentle, thoughtful, caring ways how could she resist(and you are a great dancer) you have made a wonderful life & family together. My condolences & prayers go out to my BFF (70 years is a long friendship) & her family. He saw you getting tired & a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you & whispered come to me. A gentle heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. See you later old friend
Dearest Jay, family, and friends,
On behalf of myself as a recent colleague of yours and as Chair of the Americas Advisory Council at UBS, where you also sit, I would like to express my deepest condolences for the passing of your esteemed father, Jerold "Jerry" T. Wright.
After reading about Jerry's life and accomplishments, it is evident that he played a significant role in shaping the philosophy, beliefs, and success of our legendary coach—you, Jay. We feel honored to have you associated with UBS and want to extend our warmest wishes as you celebrate the life of your father. What a tremendous legacy he leaves behind.
Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts during this challenging time. If there is anything we can do to support you, please do not hesitate to reach out.
With heartfelt sympathy,

Dearest Judy and family, Missy and I just heard the sad news. We were in Europe until yesterday. Sooo many fond memories dating back to the early ‘70s with the Larks up to our yearly catch up’s at Jacks Xmas parties. Hard to believe it’s 7.5 years since my folks passed. You were both in our thoughts often, as we think about the antics of that extended group of friends over the years. With deepest sympathy, our prayers are with you. Such a good man! Scott and Missy Gilbert.
