Condolences for Ingeborg G. Ast (Jocher)

Peggy GeitzWednesday, May 4th

Sorry to hear about Inge. My thoughts and prayers are with Armin and family. She is now with old friends.

Michael SchwarzFriday, May 6th

On behalf of my wife Christine we would like to offer our condolences to Armin, Eric, Kurt, Michael, and the entire Ast family for the loss of Inga. Aunt Inga and Uncle Armin (as I still call them) were best friends to my parents long before I was born, going back to the 1950s. My recollections of the times our families spent together with Eric and Kurt (this was before Michael was born) always bring back fond memories. My sister Linda and I always thought that Inga was “cool” and that she always had something nice and relevant to share with us. I also remember the deep respect and admiration my parents had for their dear friends through good times and bad and how they were always there for each other. My parents truly loved Armin and Inga. Growing up I recall my mother repeatedly telling me how blessed she was to have Inga in her life and how she was like a sister to her. Like her mother, Inga was a wonderful and inspirational person. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who set an example for all of us through her strength, resilience, loyalty, and love. Now she is watching over us with her friends and loved ones while leaving an incredible legacy and so memories to share. She will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Aunt Inga.❤️

Ken & Ivy AstFriday, May 6th

Dear Armin, Eric, and the entire Ast family. Ivy and I are deeply saddened to hear of Inga's passing. We are so glad we got to see and visit with her and Armin in 2019 at another family member funeral (picture attached). She was a wonderful lady and a beautiful person. With our heartfelt condolences and love, Ken and Ivy Ast

I just heard from Ken Ast about the passing of your Mother. I am so sorry and shocked. I had just chatted with your Mother at your Aunt Greta’s funeral. My sister and I just spoke of her this weekend saying how we needed to get in touch to see how your Father is doing. I regret not knowing this in time to be able to get to her funeral. I have great memories of your Mother & Father from years gone by. You’re in my thoughts as you face the adjustment ahead.
