Condolences for Gregory F. Scelzi

Lenore McQuaiteTuesday, April 5th

I am saddened over the tragic, heartbreaking and unfortunate loss of your loving son Greg.
Greg was a friend of my grandson Griffin Doyle.
Greg spent a few days with us at the beach in Sea Isle, a few years ago. He was candid and unpretentious in conversations. He made me laugh!
His off beat wit was gentle and soft. He made a lasting impression on my husband Joe and I.
Greg is at peace and I pray that you and your family experience that.

You raised a truly exceptional young man. I’m so very sorry. All of you are in my prayers.

Yesterday, I learned of the passing of Greg. During the course of a conversation with my hair stylist of well over 30 years, Paul Kretschman, I heard your heartbreaking story. What led into this was a discussion about my granddaughter who attends the Sloan School in the Council Rock District. I then discovered, coincidentally, that my grandson, Braden Kotter, was a classmate of Greg. Although they did not know each other personally, Braden was beyond saddened to hear of your tragic loss. I haven’t been able to get this tragedy out of my mind. Laura, Paul tells me you and I have something in common, which is Paul. My heart goes out to you, Greg’s twin sister and younger brother and your entire family. I will go to your Go Fund Me link to contribute to your generous cause.
Pleas accept my sincere condolences on your inconceivable loss. My heart is broken.
Much love,
Laurie Albrecht

Just one more thing to add to my previous message. My son, Carl Albrecht, teaches Social Studies at Holland Middle. He told me today he never had the pleasure of having had Greg in his class, but he did have Olivia. Although he never had Greg in class while the twins were at Holland Middle, he had nothing but wonderful things to say about Greg. Just one more connection, Laura, that I wanted to share with you.
In my thoughts and prayers,
Laurie Albrecht
