"Joe may you rest in peace."

Donna BrauningTuesday, November 2nd

My heartfelt sympathy on the loss of such a wonderful and genuinely good man, who loved his family more than anything. He was honest, hard-working and selfless, making countless sacrifices for his family, and doing it without hesitation and with remarkable perseverance. A devout Catholic, who had great faith in the Blessed Mother. An adoring husband to his wife, Barbara, who cherished his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. Not only was he very loved, but also very lovable and extremely likeable – most likely much more than he realized – and very few can be all of those things. These are just some of the traits that made him so special. He was a gift to all who knew him, and our lives will never be the same without him. He left behind a remarkable legacy of love, devotion and sacrifice, and was a wonderful example to us all. He gave us countless memories, which I will always treasure. Thank you, Uncle Joe, for the smiles, laughs and wonderful memories, and the lessons you taught us on how to love unconditionally. I feel so blessed to have had you in my life and to call you my uncle. You will be loved forever, sadly missed and never forgotten. May you rest in eternal peace, forever in the hands of the Lord.

With much love and prayers,
Donna
