Anna, I am so very heartbroken for you and your boys. I didn’t know Wayne but it sounds like he very much loved by family and friends alike, that he was successful in all aspects of his life and that he loved you all so very much.
I hope all of the good times you spent as a family will help fill you with wonderful memories. I know these last few years have been a hard road for all of you. You are in my thoughts❤️

Wayne and I met at work and though the motorcycle community some 20 or more years ago. Wayne was one of the engineers who taught then showed that there was always a way to think your way though a situation to a desired conclusion. Sometimes the answer was simple or complex or just downright wacky. There was always a learning path upon which you exited wiser for the trip. The best solutions that seem to come from left field were termed “Wayngineering” and were applied across a broad range of topics from flow measurement to weather measurement, from deck construction to British bike rebuilding. It seemed with Wayne all things not known were worth studying and an effort made to understand better was always worthwhile. May you rest in peace and ride forever the twistys.

I have only fond memories of Wayne; he was skilled and committed to his work, and showed an insight and kindness for people that's not evident in all. He was considerate and thoughtful in helping so many from our industry who needed support in finding work after losing their jobs, even while he was fighting this devastating battle of his own. I worked for Motorola in Massachusetts and got to know Wayne only in the past couple of years there. His intellect and curiosity were impressive and he combined that with a certain practicality that was refreshingly down to earth. But what I admired most was he was always interested in what YOU were doing. He engaged with you by listening and asking questions. I envy those of my colleagues who had the chance to work with him more often than I had the opportunity to.

I had the privilege of working with Wayne as part of Motorola. He was a great to work with and was passionate about product quality. More importantly he was a great person, and always had a cheerful disposition, and well-liked by everyone. There were many times when I took his counsel, relying on his knowledge and wisdom. Even after I moved to a different group, I would often stop by his office to admire the fantastic photographs he took. My sincere condolences to the family. It was clear in our interactions that he was part of loving family. I do hope that you can remain strong carrying all the great memories.

I went to William Penn High School with Wayne way back in 1971-1975. We also worked together at The Dog House Sandwhich Shop our last 2 years of school. If anyone know anything about Delaware you will know that The Dog House has been around since 1952. A very nice person and fun to be around. I remember Mr. Swindler was his favorite teacher as he taught electrical classes and he may have ignited that passion in Wayne. I reconnected with Wayne earlier this year on Facebook. Great photos. My sincere sympathy to his family.

My late husband, Joe knew Wayne through work and through their love for motorcycles. I will always remember Wayne for his kindness. I am so grateful for the gifts Anna and Wayne gave Joe & I after losing our son Matt. After losing my husband Joe, Wayne even took the time to paint a special rock and leave it on Joe's graveside. Wayne and Joe are together now. RIP sweet Wayne❤🤍🏍

I worked with Wayne at Motorola. Although I never met him personally since I worked at the Lowell, MA office, I had a few remote interactions with him for some of our shared projects. He was always nice and supportive. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to Wayne's family. Rest In Peace.

Quiet, steady, unassuming, thoughtful, kind, funny, and loving. I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful brother and even more grateful for his dedication to his role of Uncle Wayne to my daughters and granddaughters. He adored his gaggle of girls and they adored him as well. There will always be tears when we think of him, but we will also be smiling and laughing I wish we all could have had more time, but we are ever grateful for the time we did have. Please accept my sincere condolences at the passing of your husband and father Wayne. I was out of the country when I learned of his passing and did not return until after the funeral. Wayne was a thoughtful, tender-hearted and hard-working man! I very much appreciated him. He has been, and will be missed, but not forgotten.
