Dr Persichetti was my mother’s orthodontist for about 2-3 years. Such a kind-hearted, caring, sweet-natured spirit! He cared immensely for my mother. Always gave her encouraging, reassuring ease. He was gentle and made sure she didn’t leave his chair without a laugh! His professionalism was second to none! We grew to admire and love him for all the great and excellent care he provided to my mother! She was in her 70s getting braces and he gave me such rest in knowing she was in very capable hands! We will certainly miss you Dr Persichetti!! To the Persichetti family, you have our sincere condolences. May Gods peace and comfort rest upon your hearts today and all the days ahead. 🙏🏽❤️

Our family is heartbroken to hear about Dr. Persichetti’s passing. We truly loved being his patient, we always felt like he really cared about us as individuals. Not long ago Dr Persichetti came out and sat with me in the waiting room. We chatted about my kids orthodontics, but also what had been happening in the world. What busy Dr. would do that? Just Dr. P. He always treated us as part of the practice family. Are hearts are heavy for your family during this time. He will be so greatly missed. Prayers for you all.

I am absolutely heartbroken and I’m total shock. I have known Dr. P for over 20 years. He lived 10000% true to what it means to be a medical professional. I was one of the most complex cases around and he devoted SO much time and energy to me. He gave me name after name of maxilofacial surgeons to check out, which could only have been given after significant research time on his end. He thought deeply about my case in ways I know very very few, if any, orthodontists could have. His sense of humor made the appointments lively. He noticed when I looked out the window at the birds in the bird feeder, almost every time I was watching them, and I think he found my rapture amusing because he would always point out my attention. It made me laugh later. Dr. P was kind and good to me, and I miss him so much. Few men are like him. Few orthodontists, for sure. My heart goes out to all those near and dear to him. The impact he had on my life, is not trivial. I will always remember him.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Dr. Persichetti's family and loved ones and the entire office staff. I'm grateful to have known him these past few years as a patient myself and a parent of 2 young patients. We truly enjoy our trips into the office and our conversations, especially over this past year and half. With the stresses of work and life, he had a calm yet realistic view and outlook and I welcomed those breaks in my day. He had a way of making you feel comfortable and included with his work. Peace be with you all.

I am so incredibly heartbroken and in shock. I have known Dr. Persichetti for over twenty nine years and we would always joke about how he was never going to get rid of me and that I would be a patient of his until I was an old lady. Not only did he have me as a patient, but my two children as well. He was always so kind to them and showed genuine interest in what was going on in their lives. My daughter is supposed to get her braces off this week and it just won’t be the same. He was such a wonderful person and will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Persichetti’s family, friend’s and his staff.

I am so sorry to lose a colleague and friend in the dental community. We discussed our future plans for retirement not so long ago. During continuing dental education meetings we got to know each other better, even though our time at Penn coincided, so long ago.

My thoughts and prayers go to the family. I join you in your sadness.
