Betsy RuchTuesday, August 17th

I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was someone who made one feel comfortable to be around. He was a great example of a man of God and will be missed by all. Your faith and grace through this ordeal is very inspiring.

We love and admire Stephen Ross. He is a faithful, wonderful servant of the Lord. We will miss him dearly. We wish Jill and the rest of his family condolences. May the spirit of the Lord bless and comfort you all at this time. You will be with him again.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Ross family. My best times as a missionary were had in the Morrisville Ward when Stephen was the bishop thanks to his support and the culture he fostered among the congregation.

I'm so saddened by your loss. Steve was a true friend who always greated me with a hug. He was there for me and my family for 16 years. He helped me through some really ruff times and never judged me or Fred. He was a good friend and mentor for my son Max. He was very understanding and patient with him. He will always be in my heart. Love to you all. I'm with you in spirit.

I was so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He has been a dear friend to me and my business for many years. When we had lunch back in January, he spoke at length about his love for his family. I will miss him.

With deepest sympathy,

Ed Mitzen

To the Ross family - Please accept my sincere condolences. I'm a former colleague of Steve from Ikaria. Being from Montreal, I remember Steve telling me about his time spent here in Valleyfield ( I grew up 30 minutes from there) and how he discovered his love for shawarma in Montreal.
May you find peace by cherishing all the memories.

I express my love and sympathy to all the Ross family and extended family. I also express my thankfulness for the chance I had to work with Steve (President Ross) together in callings in the Church these last several years. I feel I should share that he asked me to give him a blessing twice with regard to his illness -- once early in our service together, and again several years later at the end of his calling as Stake President. Those were both sacred and meaningful experiences for me. From those two opportunities I was taught again that we are all in God's hands. I am truly thankful for Steve's example and what I learned from him! The circle of those he served and blessed was very large - a great tribute and legacy.

Hola Steve !
Te vamos extrañar amigo

We will miss you my dear friend.

To the Ross family :
I am Mike Ackerman. I met Steve as I am the Mexican partner when he was at Ikaria.

I learned a lot from Steve. Ethics, drive, results oriented, but always a great personal relationship. We would always talk about our children and families. He was always interested in our foreign culture and a real gentleman.

I will miss him dearly, and am sorry for your loss.

Que en paz descanse amigo Steve Ross!!

Dear Jill and Sweet Richard and entire Ross Family. We are so grateful that we were able to view the beautiful tribute to Steve this morning. We have been life long friends of Richard and Kay. The music and remarks by your children, by Steve’s close friends were wonderful in expressing the qualities possessed by Steve as well as you, Jill, Kay and Richard and the entire clan. Sending loving thoughts and prayers to you all. Please tell Richard that Ed & MaryAnn Brady and family love him very much! 💗

Thought of Steve today and did a search to see where he is - heartbroken to learn of Steve's passing almost a year after. I was one of many lucky and blessed people to have worked and laughed with Steve. He and I were big fans of the movie Napoleon Dynamite and sometimes entertained ourselves reciting lines from the movie. We had lunch a few years ago in Lambertville to get caught up, and sorry now we didn't stay in closer touch. Reading his obit, there is so much I didn't know about Steve - what a talented man who will be sorely missed!
My sincerest condolences to Steve's family...
John
