Condolences for Anthony J. D'Angelo

Anna DoreyThursday, July 22nd

My dear sweet Ruth (Ruth Baby Ruth). My heart breaks for you. I know how special your dad was to you and how much you loved him. My love and prayers are with you.

Paul HibberdSunday, July 25th

My sincerest condolences to his beautiful family. So many wonderful memories I have and will always treasure. My favorite Uncle, not only for his kindness and happy spirit, but the way he withstood my underdeveloped palate on so many sleepovers and holiday meals, a true saint, never pushed or cajoled. And, yes, the ice cream parfaits and sodas (my first and the best yet) will never be forgotten. To Anthony, Ruthie, John and Jackie, your father was someone I looked up to and, much like my father, was someone you wanted to emulate and impress. All my love to you and your beautiful families.

Tony D'Angelo was my English teacher at Peirce Jr. College and I will always refer to him as Mr. D'Angelo. He was a big part of my life when my aspirations and excitement about the future were molded with his insights. I was lucky to have met him and have him as a teacher. His passing saddens me and I can't fathom the grief felt by his family.

With deepest sympathy,

Dave Brady '75

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Anthony. He did good work in his life and helped raise a beautiful family. We never got to meet him in person, but we heard the stories! He will be missed.

Pat and Family, I was so sorry to learn that Tony had passed away. I worked with Tony at Delaware County Community College. I was one of his Admins and he was one of the best bosses I ever had. He was very compassionate about Pat and his family. Every time he talked about them he would have a big smile on his face. He was especially excited when he learned that he was going to have his first grandchildren. He was so down to earth that he would even have lunch with my friends and I. I think he liked hearing our gossip. He was a great guy who will be missed!

My condolences to his family! Tony was my supervisor as chair of the business depts. at both Peirce College and Delaware County Community College from 1990 to 2002. Not only was he a fine superior, but a true leader and an educator who truly cared about his adjunct instructors and students!
May he rest in peace,
Bob Votta, PhD
