To Phyllis, Steve, Dave, and Kathy,

It was an honor to have made a friend in Charlie during the time I had with him. He was truly an original; 'robust' is the word which comes to my mind most often in describing his essence. He was a mountain of a man, and had climbed many personal peaks during his rich tenure on this earth. I admire so much about him, and I shall miss him - and Phyllis as well, who was always so interesting to talk to and be with (whenever Charlie was napping, or under the headphones listening and singing loudly to every genre of music I shared with him on my visits). I will miss our get-togethers. Peace to you and your entire family as you take some comfort in knowing that your larger than life, loveable patriarch is finally at peace.

We will miss our dear Uncle Charles. There are so many memories from my childhood that include Charles and my father, John, two peas in a pod. May God's comfort surround your family as we can mourn but still cherish the good times. To paraphrase Grandma, "Our family is our greatest asset!"

CAROLYN STINETuesday, August 10th

The Stine and Frantz families, and Virginia Ely, are greatly saddened to hear of Uncle Charles’ passing. We have many fond memories of visiting him and Aunt Phyllis in Doylestown. To repeat Elisa and what I heard Grandma Williams say many times, "Our family is our greatest asset!" God bless all of you at this most difficult time.

Dear Steve and Family -- so sorry for your loss. Your Dad had an amazing career as an electrical engineer which overlapped with my Dad's at Sperry Univac, if I recall. If my parents were not out of state my Dad and Mom would have liked to have attended the memorial service yesterday. I hope your fond memories of Dad lift you in those moments when his phyiscal presence is missed the most. Blessings to you and your family.
