Condolences for Ruth "Scotti" Schorpp (Scott)

Donna BehringerTuesday, May 18th

Dick and I, and the dogs, will miss seeing Scotti on our daily walks. Rest in Peace.

I am heartbroken to learn of the death of my favorite cousin. A few years ago she informed me I was the only person left calling her by her childhood name, Ruth Jean. I would be proud to attend her funeral representing the Jones family of her Scott/Jones heritage but unfortunately circumstances prevent my wife and me from making the trip from Cleveland at this time. My personal thanks to Ed Schorpp for being such a supportive husband these past fifty four years. Ruth Jean left no doubt in my mind that Ed was truly the great love of her life. Their wedding in itself was such a joyous, unforgettable event that it was clear to me then that here was a love affair destined to thrive to the very end.
Ruth Jean, you may now enjoy eternal peace knowing how many lives you have brightened during your brief sojourn on earth.

My sweet sweet Scotti. I always adored her, since I was a little boy. I always told her “you’re far out”. She was soooo cute. When I was 8, I had a crush on her.

Sorry for your loss, from the bottom of my heart.
